You, Lord Almighty, are all knowing, greater in knowledge and wisdom than my human mind can fathom. In fact, Your Word says in Isaiah 40:28 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.”
How beautiful and wonderful You are!
I am so deeply grateful for Your omnipotence, especially because it’s encased in Your inexhaustible love and mercy. You care deeply for me. You know my heart, You know my past, You know my deep longings, You even know the path that lay ahead of which I have no notion.
I trust You with me.
Whether I realize it or not, You have a special plan for my life—dare I say, an anointing. I want to live fully into it, wholeheartedly with curiosity and wonder.
It’s not always easy as I confront difficulties and struggles. But it’s worth it. You never promised an easy life; in fact You warned me of troubles. John 16:33 recounts the truth You spoke … “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
So walking with You, rather than on my own, abiding in You—giving You all of my self is the way I want and will live. I give You my joys, I give You my sorrows. I give You my material possessions, I give You what I lack and need. I give You my past and I give You my future. I give You my heart.
I want to live my life fully invested in You.
In the Trusting and Loving Name of Jesus I pray.
Amen.
