Our work is done here in McDowell County and we are sad to leave all our new friends. We have worked hard this week and now it's time to enjoy some of West Virginia's beautiful mountains and rivers with our fun day at the Adventures On The Gorge!!
Thirteen of us braved the white water rapids on the New River Gorge and had so much fun! Huge smiles and loud screams could be heard from each raft as we rode class 2, 3, 4 and one class 5 rapids. The others enjoyed some relaxation by the pool that over looked the mountain top. We ended the evening with pizza and highlights from our week. It was great that we got one more day of fellowship and make great memories in West Virginia. This trip was a great success!!
