Wood Ministry (Monthly)

"...I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:36

People can be "in prison" for many reasons.  It does not always mean physically behind bars.  We can be in prison financially, making it impossible to afford life's necessities.  There are friends in our community that use wood as a necessity to heat their homes, but are not in a position to purchase it.
The Wood Ministry provides wood, at no cost, to those in need in Powhatan and Chesterfield Counties.  You are invited to chop, split and stack wood with us every third Saturday of the month to help friends in our community stay warm throughout the winter months. Contact Mike Baumgardner for more information.
