You probably haven’t heard “Her Story” like this before. For starters, these five stories don’t often get the attention they deserve. All the more reason for us to dedicate a few Sundays to make sure we know “Her Story.” It is incredible to hear and reflect on God’s faithfulness through these five women:  Rahab, Deborah, Ruth, Naomi, and Hannah. The impact women have had on the life we now have through Jesus Christ is so consequential, the New Testament opens with Jesus’ family tree that clearly names Rahab and Ruth. One of the things I hope we get out of this series is a fresh reminder to pay attention to people on the margins. In the Old and New Testament, God is often clearly revealed among the people that the dominant culture overlooks. Furthermore, I pray that we recover a double portion of their faithfulness to trust absolutely in God.
