Confirmation Classes: Sundays, Feb 15-March 8 (after worship; 90 minutes)

Covering the Old Testament & New Testament timelines, the history of the Church and what we believe.

6th-12th Grade are welcome to attend, baptism is not required.

For United Methodists, Confirmation is a public COVENANT, an agreement a baptized person makes with God in the presence of family, friends and members of the church to “Confirm” their intention to live out the vows made during baptism. With the help and support of the congregation those being Confirmed “(Confirmands”) affirm that they will participate as an active member of the Church community.
To help Youth prepare to profess their Faith in Christ and Confirm their commitment to live as disciples of Christ, New Life UMC will be offering Confirmation Classes beginning Sunday, February 15, 2026 after Service and continuing over the next 4 weeks. Classes will be approximately 90 minutes long and led by Pastor Joe Varner in the Youth Room. Confirmation Classes will cover Old Testament and New Testament timelines, the history of the Church and what we believe.
Youth 6th Grade - High School are welcome to attend, baptism is not required.
