All hands on deck! It's time to prepare for CARITAS as we will host families this year January 13-20. We need your help to make this week a success. CARITAS is an non-profit organization helping to end homelessness. We partner with them once a year. Here is what we need help with:

Set Up- Join us at 8:30 am on January 13, to set up space in our church to accommodate our guests. Must be able to move furniture, lift suitcases, and make beds.

Breakfast- Arrive at 5 am to get breakfast out for our guests. Need to make coffee, put out cereal, bagels, fruit, and oatmeal. Help distribute lunches when they leave. Clean up the kitchen and take out the trash before leaving.

Lunches- Come to church anytime building is open and pack 35 lunches (make a sandwich, chips, fruit, treat and water)

Dinners- Provide a hot meal by 5:30pm to feed 30-35 kids and their parents. Clean up after dinner and take out the trash.

Laundry- Come to church between 7pm and 8pm to pick up laundry. Wash, fold and return by 7pm the following day. Available 3 times during the week.

Daily Cleaning- Help the church be prepared for its daily activities. Come in to clean bathrooms, vacuum floors, and wash towels overnight helpers

Overnight Assitance- We always provide 2 adults to spend the night at church to help if problem arises. The CARITAS staff is always in charge but a New Life friend can help as we know where everything is at church and if they run out of something important in the middle of the night.
