Four practices support our faith: sharing the Good News, meeting as small groups, making a real difference in the world, and empowering future generations.
Our summer reading, Calling on Fire, presents these four practices as vital to our experience as Methodists today. In a time when staggering numbers of people are facing despair and hopelessness, God is calling on us to spread the news about Jesus like wildfire. Studying and applying this book will give us common language and tools to unite around our mission: transforming lives through Jesus Christ.

Life Group/Bible Study/Short-Term Study Opportunities
There are three opportunities for adults to grow together at New Life.
Life Groups are small groups that get together weekly - Virtual & In-Person - to study various Bible studies, deepening their faith through shared learning, discussion, and community support. Life Groups are for everyone: women, men, older adults, couples, and young adults. Open to anyone at any time - prior attendance is not necessary. Life Groups pray, study, laugh and cry together. But even more, they grow in Christ together.
Bible Study Groups bring people together to explore and understand the teachings of the Bible, grow in their faith, encourage one another spiritually, and build a supportive Christian community where members can apply biblical principles to their daily lives. Open to everyone at any time whether they are new to faith or have been studying scriptures for a lifetime.
Short-term Study Groups are focused studies of a specific topic, book of the Bible, or theme that typically lasts for a set number of weeks—often 4 to 8 weeks. They are designed to be time-limited and accessible, making it ideal for people looking to grow spiritually without a long-term commitment. Everyone is welcome to participate.
